
Cablevision to offer HBO NOW to online customers
HBO fans have a new reason to celebrate as they can easily access and watch some of their favorite TV shows as well as movies in a very easy and reliable way.
In its quest of ensuring that people can easily access their content, HBO has entered into an agreement with cable TV operator Cablevision System Inc.
The new deal will see Cablevision System Inc offer stand alone streaming service to the millions of fans of HBO. That said it is expected to start offering such services next month to its vast number of internet customers who have waiting in vain.
Last week Apple Inc said that all people who are using their devices can now be able to access HBO’s streaming services easily on their devices. The news was welcomed with a number of users who are using iPhones as well as other Apple related products.
It is expected that the streaming service which is being offered by HBO will launch in time for the long awaited premier of the fifth season of “Game of Thrones” which is set to premier later this year on 12th April.
That said there were no agreements or terms which were revealed by cablevision although it added that it will be giving out the prices for the new streaming services by HBO NOW in a week’s time.
Following the great news, HBO saw its shares rise by 2 percent at 18.21 dollars on the Ney youk Stork of change on Monday.
